I was "living out of a suitcase" at an SRO. Fall of 1977.

The 'Three Arts Club' was very interesting.  The residents ranged from a secretary taking a Saturday morning art class (she actually was a Punahou grad!) to young teen ballerinas employed under Maria Tallchief at the Opera.  No men were allowed above the ground floor and you had to dress for Sunday dinner.

This is all the space I had to work in.
My shoelaces,glass slides and yes, paper clips were in a student show at the Sears Tower.
